Bucks Youth Academy |
Brentwood Baseball Club are proud to have a highly active and successful Youth academy. Our academy covers all age groups, both boys and girls from 10 to 16 although we will take younger players from 8/9 years onward. Our Youth academy has been fortunate to qualify for the highly prestigious Jack Petchey Award status.
Our club encourages participation in our sport, encouraging individual development,
team working and a love for our sport at what ever level of playing ability. We are an all inclusive family club that work together to gain enjoyment from playing baseball.
Brentwood Baseball Club is a local community family oriented club. We believe that the club should provide a conduit to provide a sporting opportunity to the local community. Our goal is to get more young people playing an outdoor sport and leading an active lifestyle and also to increase the knowledge awareness and numbers of young people who play Baseball.
To help achieve this goal the club is working with local schools and youth groups (such as cub/scouts).
Our vision is that the young people who join the club develop both as individuals and team players within our sport, acquiring interactive social discipline and team skills that will be required in adult life plus the health benefit of playing an outdoor sport and an active member of the local community.
We aim for our youth players to grow and develop these skills whilst at the club improving their sporting skills, confidence and self esteem.
We also envisage that sporting and individual development will be enhanced as the players move through our youth teams through to our adult teams.
Our club's key principle is "making the game and participation fun" whilst ensuring the game is played in a safe and enhancing environment.

Brentwood Baseball Club has a fully developed coaching structure to manage the Youth academy.
All our coaches are CRB Checked and are registered with the National Authority for our sport, BSUK. All coaches have or are going through National Baseball Coaching Qualifications for the level they coach at.
Our training sessions are designed to cover all abilities from the first timer through to those who have played for a number of years.
The emphasis is on fun through a clearly defined coaching program.
Our training program is designed for specific age groups based around the team structure. Therefore we have programs designed for those of 8-9 years old, Bronco age and Pony age.
Both the Bronco and Pony Teams train at the same times but are coached separately.
