The Jack Petchey Foundation, established in 1999, gives awards and grants to programmes and projects that benefit young people aged 11 - 25. The Foundation is eager to help young people take advantage of opportunities and play a full part in society.
Brentwood Baseball Club currently participates in the Jack Petchey Achievement Awards which:
enables the club to recognise the effort, endeavour and achievement of youth players in a practical and positive way
provides the club with additional funds of around £2200 per year, including the Leader Award. These funds are to be spent on youth development.
enables the club to nominate an adult to win a Jack Petchey Foundation Leader Award
